Making a home in Yoruba Land

Yo Diary! It’s your girl Windy again. Been a bit since I last wrote in you. Did you miss me all up inside you? …Sorry, that was uncalled for. Anyway, I have sorta neglected keeping up but I’ve been both busy and off-track for a while.

The off-track part came up after getting off of Mateo’s ship. Let me tell you, Ocean travel is no joke, but I realize it was all because I was on a ship with ONE other person who also wasn’t fully prepared to deal with sea monster shenanigans. Anyway, I hit the dock and immediately got hit up by the customs agent. Like, within seconds of my tiny feet fluttering above the pier, that bitch was on top of me. Started busting out every question as if she foretold my arrive type shit. I was impressed, The Kingdom of Yoruba is one of the oldest in the Eastern part of the Afreekan continent and it’s because of being on the ball with every little detail.

After getting grilled by customs, I went to the local state house and asked for audience with the Governor using my MU credentials. That Governor, a Ogun Hell, is actually a big fan of mages and was quite hospitable. The shame is that he could only tell me that Dan wasn’t there. Dan had apparently worked as a State Mage for about a few months before something grabbed his attention and took off to god knows where. Governor Hell wasn’t sore about it, however, just grateful Dan had been such a diligent worker when he was here.

Regardless, that blew. Just when I got a lead, it led me across the ocean to a fat nothing, is what I would say if it wasn’t for Governor Hell being such a generous man. Sure, he couldn’t get me Dan but he still wants to help by utilizing Yoruban government resources to get me a new lead. All he asked for in return was for me to take over as state mage in Dan’s place. He even sweetened the deal by giving me a house and his daughter’s hand in marriage. Free job, house and wife ain’t nothing!

The job: State Mage!

So now I’m a Yoruban State Mage. “What the fuck is that supposed to be? And why are you so sexy in any outfit you where?” I hear you ask. The latter is natural sexiness that comes from every millimeter of my goddess-given form. The former is actually quite simple, it’s a Mage that works for the State. This will be on the test.

No, but really, it is that straight forward. A common job for MU members to get is one that comes from governments. A town needs someone or ones who is/are versed in magic for one reason or another, so they hire a mage or mages to fill in that role(s). This district needed a State Mage for a bit and had sent a request to MU to send one over. They got Dan but he left without another to fill in the role with him gone. Good thing I came along, huh?

And it really hasn’t been too flashy of work. Mostly brewing potions and tonics, looking for lost items, reconstructing buildings, etc. Can’t say this is showing off my best kinda magical abilities but it is still rewarding in it’s own special way.

But Les get one thing Gay…

I mean, “But let’s get one thing straight,” while I’m married, it’s not because I’m in love or anything. Look, Governor Hell’s daughter Ochun is nice and all but this isn’t anything special. According the some previous State Mages I’ve been in contact with, it’s normal for Yoruban Mages to be wed to a local as a part of accepting the work. Something, something, minimizing mundane daily tasks to maximize productivity. I think it’s just a way to keep Mages from leaving. If they get pregnant/get someone pregnant, they’ll be forced to settle down. Good thing I got me a wife instead of a husband but even if they did, birth control is second nature to me now.

Anyway, Ochun isn’t too shabby at being for being my first wife. She’s been cooking, cleaning, cumming like the crazy bottom she is. Perfect but that’s all she is to me, a convenience. Turns out she was supposed to be married to Dan when he was here but he declined her entirely. According to her, she was glad he did as she prefers a woman’s touch. That I could give and give and give again after a drink break. I know this makes me sound like a monster but she knows this is just a temporary situation. As soon as I get a solid lead, I’m bouncing out of here. Plus, she can do a lot better than me… maybe not at the sex thing but definitely someone who’d actually love her. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen one of single lady neighbors flirting with her before and after we got hitched. After I’m gone, she’ll find another who can be what she truly deserves.

But until then, I’m going to press her buzzer every night we share together! God, but she’s a cute one.
